. . . I am fairly certain that given a Cape and a nice Tiara, I could save the world!

Really?!

Sorry blog buddies! I have been a little MIA this week. Work has been insane lately! But I had to blog about my co-worker Ashley!

Candice and I are in love with Twilight! We talk about it often, especially since our favorite book, Eclipse, is coming out soon! Ashley had never read them and thought she should so she could know what we were talking about all the time. So everyday we asked her "how are you liking it?". She would tells us that it was okay but that was all. Well when she finally got around to Eclipse we were sure this is where her love for it would kick in . . . no such luck! We couldn't believe it! Eclipse is the book where everything you always want to happen happens! So she comes in this morning and informs us that she is 1/4 through Breaking Dawn and will not be finishing it. She was hating it! Don't get me wrong Breaking Dawn was not my favorite but she didn't like any of them?!

What book was your favorite?

While I am talking about co-workers, I have to mention Mark! He has begun reading my blog and has been waiting for me to mention him! Mark is wonderful. Candice Mark and I all have girl talk a couple of times a week. You just have to love Mark! And everyone take notice because he has told me that he will be famous one day and you will want to tell your children that you have seen him! haha!
Hang in there! It's almost Friday!!

Wonderful Weekend!

I hope you all had a fabulous Easter weekend with your families! I did! It was perfect!

I have been lucky enough to spend the past 4 days with my man, which now a days is such a treat! We managed to see a ton of each other and spend time with some great friends of ours.

Easter Sunday was beautiful! I enjoyed not freezing for the first year that I can remember. Bobby and I went to Easter service with my family at Faith and then had a delicious lunch at my house. Later we drove out to Millington and celebrated his birthday, which was Thursday, with his family. We were exhausted but it was so good to be around so much family this weekend.

Sadly, I will be driving him to the airport this afternoon. I think I am getting better at the good-byes!

Here are some pictures of me and Mr. Handsome on Easter!

Maybe You Will Get The Crown?!

How is everyone on this wonderful Friday?

Yesterday was Bobby's birthday and this weekend we will continue to just spend some much needed time together and celebrate!

I did manage to still catch Project Runway last night!! Oh the twists in the storyline! Maya left and so they brought back Anthony!! YAY!!

Not only did he come back but he was ONE of the winners of the challenge. Thats right I said one there were two! The challenge was to create a red carpet look for Heidi. And this time I totally agreed with the judges! Here are the winners and my picks!

Emilio- This is what Heidi will wear!

Anthony- This is what Jessica Alba will wear!

So Anthony is back! He says "You don't have to win the crown to be the Queen!". But maybe he will win the crown?!

Wishful Wednensday . . . Easter

'I wish' .... I could re-live one Easter memory from my childhood, and it would be . . . Any Easter when I was little.

I know its a cop-out to not pick just one but I love Easter! It is my second favorite holiday. I have so many wonderful Easter memories. Every Easter my sister and I would get a new dress, a tradition I still keep up. I love when I see little girls in what is clearly a special Easter dress. You know the one that has extra ruffles.

Growing up we also knew Easter was special because we would get new white patin leather mary janes. And my Momma, being the good southern woman that she is, would not let us wear our new white shoes until Easter morning.

But what I most remember and cherish from Easters past is that I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and have parents who took me to Church not only on Easter but every other Sunday as well. I learned at a young age the true meaning of Easter! I learned that the Easter Bunny is fun and coloring eggs are great but that what we truly celebrate is the amazing resurrection of Christ!
This is the actual empty tomb!

I hope you all remember what Easter is all about this year. And that the Bunny visits you too!

I love to get these in my basket! Yum!!

Good-Bye Little Swimmer

I have some sad news.

Yesterday as I was leaving work I noticed my fish was not swimming. I tapped on his tank and he did not move. I began to get worried because that always makes him angry and he swims around like he can't believe that I have touched his tank. However, this time there was nothing.

Josh, the fish, was given to me about a year ago by Bobby when we just started dating. He was Tiger blue of course! We appropriately named him Josh, in honor of Josh Pastner! Everyone at my office also loved him. We had a very sweet service with a burial at sea.

Josh was a trooper. He held on as long as he could and he made it through tournament time!

We will all miss you Josh!

On a more upbeat note . . . today has started off wonderfully! I love when my morning is amazing lets just hope it continues!! I don't have a ton of issues going on at work so I shouldn't be frazzled (Candice loves when I say that). I then plan on having a relaxing lunch break with some much need reading. I don't know where I am going to go yet but I will definitely be leaving work! If you sit at your desk while on lunch you still have people asking you questions since your there. haha!!

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Well Rested Weekend

Hello Friends!

I had a very relaxing weekend and it was much needed! Friday night I just went home read and went to bed, it was fabulous. I slept in Saturday morning and then just uploaded my cruise pictures to Facebook.

Saturday night Bunny and I went to what I am sure was the senior citizens dinner hour! haha! We decided to go and see Remember Me and we did not want to be out late so we ate dinner at 5:30 so we could see the 7:30 movie. I know we are acting like we are pushing 65 instead of 25 but we had church the next morning and just didn't want to be tired! haha! We ate at PF Chang's because I had been craving it, and it was delicious! During dinner we decided that we didn't want to see what we were sure was a depressing movie so we switched and saw Hot Tub Time Machine. It was so funny! I am sure that everyone at work is going to yell at me for not seeing Remember Me! I will I promise!

Of course we had to continue to check the score of the Kentucky game during the movie! And we saw that Kentucky lost to West Virginia! I grew up loving the Wildcats but I just cannot support Cal!

Sunday was church and then lunch with Lauren. I enjoy whenever I get to see her. She has been super busy with wedding stuff lately, of course. Then I had to have my Sunday afternoon nap.

It was a good peaceful weekend! However, I am looking forward to this week so much!! Bobby will be getting into Memphis Wednesday night, fingers crossed since last time did not work out so well. He will be here for both his birthday and Easter! I can't wait to see him! My beautiful sissy and best brother in law will also be coming in this weekend for Easter and I can't wait to see them!! It's been too long!!

So this week just can't come along any sooner for me!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

You Don't Have To Win The Crown To Be The Queen

Thank Goodness It's Friday!! I am ready for the weekend! This weather is seriously playing with my allergies. I am now on hour 52 of allergy meds. Yuck!! So I have big plans for sleeping and trying to fight the pollen this weekend!

Last night was very sad for me on Project Runway, Anthony was out! This is the first time that I was not happy about who got sent home (I would have picked Mila or Jonathan). I agreed with the judges that he does keep giving us the same style dress but with different designs but I just loved him! He was so funny. I seriously laughed out loud while watching him. I think he is an amazing designer and that he has a wonderful future ahead of him. We will miss you Anthony, but we are excited to see what you do next!! Just remember your favorite saying "You Don't Have To Win The Crown To Be The Queen"!

Here is my favorite dress of Anthony's! It was on the cover of Marie Claire's March issue!

Now for my favorite picks! I liked both looks because both desingers stayed true to their style and still gave the judges what they were looking for with the prints. Seth Aaron's design is a little to rocker for me but is it wonderfully made and very detailed! The best thing about Emilio's design is the color. I like the bold bule!

Hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend!
