. . . I am fairly certain that given a Cape and a nice Tiara, I could save the world!

Breaking Free

As of Wednesday I will be starting a new Beth Moore Bible Study, Breaking Free. I am so excited about it! I love me some Beth. I just feel like we are BFF. I have done several of her studies but most of them have been on a particular book of the Bible but this one is about breaking yourself free from all your personal captivity. So I am really looking forward to diving in to God's Word and seeing what He wants to tell me!

Here is the actual description of the study:

Breaking Free: The Journey, The Stories by Beth Moore leads you through a study of the Scriptures to discover the transforming power of Christian freedom. Based on Isaiah 61:1-4, this in-depth Bible study draws parallels between the captive Israelites and today's believers. Beth uses Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small. She explains that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage. Breaking Free is Beth's life message that she wants to share with you.

Last night at my Church choir practice we sang this song, which is new to us, and I loved it. I feel like this song goes so well with the Bible study I will be starting. So to begin to get me into a prayful heart each day of the 11 week study I will begin my days but listening to this song.

Almost the weekend! Woo-hoo! My honey will be back in town at least for a day or so!!

Boyfriend Blogging

So this is the conversation I had last night with Bobby:
Bobby: So I read your blog today.

Me: Was that the first time you read it?

Bobby: Yea (then laughs).

Me: Why are you laughing? Do you not like my blog? I think it is pretty!!

Bobby: (still laughing) No I like it. It is pretty. And if possible I think reading it has made me love you more. I think you should write a book from it. You know like they do in movies, where it all starts from a blog!!

Me: Ummm I don't think so.
Bobby: There is only one thing missing.
Me: Whats that?

Bobby: You don't mention me in very many. I think you should have a silly boyfriend post a week with like a youtube video!

So here's to you babe!! ;)

Some other fun things today! I got an award from Kelly!!! Thanks girl!

Here are some gergeous blogs I love to read!

Also, I found this and thought it was the funniest thing I have seen in a while! It is real!! Click here to read the story!!

Celebrity Look A Like!

Wow two posts in one day! This will never happen again, I am sure!!

If you are a facebook user I am sure that you have seen everyone sharing their celebrity twins! I did not participate on facebook because I didn't want to go through having to change my photo and everything. But I did want to share with my wonderful blog friends. Leigh's blog reminded me of it, so go over and check out her celebrity look a likes!

So here are mine:

Reese Witherspoon: I was first told that I looked like her when I was 14 it was when Cruel Intentions was first released. I have constantely been told that ever since.

Carrie Undewood: This was first told to me about a year after she won American Idol. The first to say that to me were some little girls that I nannied for during college.

Play along and tell me which celebrity you think you look like!

Chocolate Coma

I think I have just entered a chocolate coma! Does anyone know how to get out of that?

The past 21 days I have not had any chocolate. I was participating in a prayer and fasting devotional with my Church. Since I love chocolate I thought it was the perfect thing to give up. It was really hard. The family, Bobby and I went to Gatlinburg and I couldn't have hot chocolate, which is just wrong I mean mountains, cold weather and hot chocolate it just goes together. I couldn't even have the andies mint after dinner at Olive Garden.

But I successfully completed my 21 days on Tuesday and celebrated all day yesterday! I had coco puffs for breakfast. And my wonderful Momma put together a little bag full of chocolate goodies so I munched on that ALL day yesterdy! I still have at least half left today but I just don't know if I can eat anymore! haha!

(this is probably how much I ate yesterday!!)

Maybe I need to take it a little slower on the chocolate for the next couple of days! Ease myself back into this wonderful goodness!

Wishful Wednesday . . . . Grammy Spotlight

'I wish' .... I could have stolen Beyonce's performance spotlight at the Grammy's!

Wow!! The girl rocked out!! She had a fabulous outfit on and a powerful song. I loved how she added Alanis Morissette song in there too. She did an amazing job and looked hot doing it! I also loved to see Jay Z's face afterward, he was so proud, it was precious!

Now if I wish was wishing for dresses it would Lea Michele's dress! She looked gorgeous! I heard her on the red carpet saying that she had a white dress that she was going to wear but didn't because she realized you could see through it, applause for not wearing it anyway like so many others do. She just happened to have this one and it was perfect!

I look forward to Wednesdays just for this! If you want to play along too just head over to Kelsey's blog!

Happy Hump Day Everyone!!

Barefoot in Barcelona!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!

I have a couple of topics I must discuss with you!!

First my BFF, Bunny, had this nail polish on and I fell in love with it! We are deeply addicted to OPI nail polish. I love You Don't Know Jacques because it is a neutral grey color but it is a little dark for spring time. So this color is perfect! It is called Barefoot in Barcelona. I loved it so much that I called around today to both Targets and Trade Secret to see who had it and then spent my lunch time going to pick it up!

Secondly, I am really excited about the upcoming Oscars! The Blind Side was nominated for Best Picture and Sandra Bullock was nominated for Best Actress. I am so happy for them because I love this movie. It has such a good message about this Christian woman making a difference in a boy's life! However, as I perused the nomination list I noticed something missing . . . Quinton Aaron's name!! I think he should have been nominated for Best Supporting Actor! In my opinion he was incredible. He made me feel for him and love the character and I think he deserved recognition for that!!

Lastly, this is for all you runners out there! The Junior League of Memphis is hosting 5k for Kids, Taking Steps to End Childhood Obesity, it will be held on May 8th. I am in charge of assisting the advertising chair and would love for ya'll to consider attending. It is really easy to sign up, you just need to go to the Junior League's website. We will have more information coming out the closer it gets to race day. Please at least consider running so we can raise some money to help our Kids in the Kitchen and other Memphis organizations that require our funding!
