Who Would Have Thought . . .

My Mom always says that kindness gets you a long way but who would have thought it could go this far? This morning it proved true. I was driving to work when I got pulled over.

Police Officer: (writing up my ticket and finally walks to my window) "How are you today?"
Me: "Fine thanks. How are you?"
Police Officer: (looking surprised) "You are the fist person to ask me how I am!"
Me: "Really?"
Police Officer: "Yea most people are angry and either don't answer or will just cuss me."
Me: "That's just unnecessary. There is no need to be rude."
Police Officer: "I knew I wanted to write you a warning!" (rips up the ticket, writes a warning and send me on my way)

** The lesson always be nice sometimes that is all someone else needs**

I was extra excited when I got to work because of two little happies!

1. The new Nicholas Sparks book will be release September 14. I usually keep up with his release dates but I have been so busy that I didn't even realize that it was coming up until I got an email about it this morning! I love this books and I can not wait to get this one!!

2. I saw this video this weekend and I had to share it with ya'll. Everyone knows of my admiration/love/slight obsessiveness about Tim Tebow. So I think I might need to step my game up because I have more competition then I thought.

Side note even with his "initiation haircut" I still love him and would take him!! haha!!
