Today I walked into work and immediately felt sad for two reasons. One my work bestie, Candice, has the day off. And then I noticed that my beautiful flowers from Valentine's Day are starting to wilt!

However, on a positive note I had a wonderful weekend. I just got new hardwood floors in my closet so I had to completely empty it out and thought that would be a great time to go through it and clean it up a bit. I managed to donate about 10 dresses, 10 pants, and 83 tops to the Junior League of Memphis' Repeat Boutique. It was insane to realize that I had that much to give away!!

Saturday morning Mr. PPS and I went for a little 3 mile run and a friendly competition of who could complete it first. The winner got to pick the activity for the night. Since I won, pretty sure he let me, I picked dinner and then the Reese Witherspoon movie "How Do You Know". I didn't get to see it when it first came out so now that I had waited so long it is playing at the discount theater for $2.50!

Sunday I had a date night with my Daddy since Mom had left to drive to Middle TN to be with Sissy for another ultra sound of our little Pumpkin! We rented Social Networking of OnDemand. It was really interesting and Daddy really liked!

Now it is time for a Pumpkin update!!
After her ultra sound last week we found out that we were off a little from when she got pregnant and Pumpkin will be here on Oct 9th instead of the 7th. Yesterday Pumpkin was 7 weeks in the oven!! This week hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs. Pumpkin has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry! I can't wait to be a Aunt to this sweet little baby!

How was your weekend?

  1. how was the Reese Witherspoon movie?! I wanted to see it but we don't get to the movies very often lol
It is SO weird to read about how babies develop and the comparison of how big they are (ie: blueberry, lime, etc) It is amazing to think we all started out that small!!
Glad you had a good weekend --I like father daughter date nights =)

  2. Was the Reese movie good? I also want to see the new Jennifer Aniston movie.

Are you a Memphis Junior Leaguer or did you just choose them to donate to? I'm in the LEAD class right now but am really interested in joining!
