1. I got to see my sissy this weekend and the newest ultrasound video of my sweet nephew Benjamin!!

2. We have decided on how to decorate his nursery. Sissy and Will are going to paint the walls icelantic blue. And this is a picture of what his bedding will be made out of!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Today I'm Loving ...

1. This website was on the MSN homepage when I pulled up my internet this morning! You can see what the top nail color is in cities near you!!

2. I saw this Marriage Proposal on youtube yesterday! This is what makes me a hopeless romantic ... sorry for any boy in my future but this is what I like to expect, creativity and romance!!

3. I have began making some plans for Sissy and Benjamin's shower!! This is an inspiration board I found for a baby boy shower!

4. This weekend is my brother in law's birthday so we are going to Cookeville to visit them, but I am mostly excited to get to see this little guy and talk to him since he can now hear sounds!!!

Now Introducing ...

Mr. and Mrs. Nicol!!!

That's right my sorority Lil is now a Mrs. She and her sweet hubby were married this weekend!

It was absolutely beautiful! They were married in a small chapel on the square, where every member of her family has been married. Then the reception was at her grandparents 1820s home. Her grandfather has a large lovely rose garden, that has been featured in southern living a few times, and they set up white tents over them. There was a worry that rain might ruin the day but luckily there were a few showers that morning and then the sun was out in all its glory for the rest of the day and into the evening. She could not have had a more elegant wedding!

After having fought to have her as my Lil Sis and loving her for the past 7 years I was so honored to stand up there with her while she married the most perfect man, the only man that God could have created just for her!











They are now off on their honeymoon in Mexico and I will be staying with their "children". Ben has left me a 3 page note while Anna's was a one liner "Don't kill us for leaving you with them, don't kill the dogs cause they are psycho, have fun and I love you". You can already see which one of them is more responsible! Haha!

Trucks, Sports & Dirt!

That's right I am going to have a NEPHEW!!!

Benjamin William will be here in 20 more weeks and my life will forever change!! Growing up it was just me and Sissy so we had all things girly at our house. But with the addition of Benjamin we will switch gears from dance recitals, cheerleading competitions and gymnastics practice to baseball, football and soccer games ... and I am so excited!!

Once I heard the news yesterday I left on my lunch break and immediately went shopping! I couldn't help it, I have been dying to buy stuff since we found out that my Sissy was pregnant. Both her and her hubby read this so I can't tell you just yet what all I got but it is precious!!

I wish they didn't live 4 hours away so I could talk to that sweet little growing baby bump of Sissys, Benjamin's ears have fully developed and he can hear sounds now!! If I could talk to him I would say something like this ...

My Sweet Benjamin,

I am so glad that I am lucky enough to get to be your Aunt! Yesterday I found out that you were going to be you, and I am going to love you to pieces! I hope you know just how blessed you are and how much God must love you to give you the best parents in the world. And your Grandparents … don’t even get me started on them cause we could talk for hours about how much they love you and have prayed for you, something that will continue all your sweet life. They did a great job raising your Mom and I know that she is going to do an amazing job raising you! Your Dad is one of the most incredible men I have ever met. He looks after me just like a big brother and I know that he is going to take such good care of you.

I have had the privilege of having these people in my life for the last 25 years, 3 years for your dad but it feels like he has been there just as long, and having them love me, look after me, protect me and pray for me; so I know all the wonderful things that you are going to experience by being a part of this family. However, as wonderful as your parents are there are going to be sometimes that you need to have a vacation from them and that is where I come into your life! I am going to be your safe place, the person that you can come to and tell your secrets, the one who will let you stay up past your bed time and build forts with you in my living room. I will be the one who is yelling the loudest at all your ball games. I am going to be the Aunt that builds sand castles with you at the beach and makes mud pies with you in the backyard. I cannot wait for you to get here and to hold you in my arms for the first time! These next 20 weeks until your birthday are going to seem like an eternity to me. But when you do decide to grace us with your presence I will be right there waiting to welcome you into this world with a hug, a kiss and a prayer!

Today I am loving ...

1. That I will find out if I am having a Niece or a Nephew in a few short hours!!

2. That this sweet couple will be getting married this weekend!!

3. While they are on their honeymoon I will get to stay with their "babies"!!

4. That I will be getting my mani/pedi tonight for the wedding!! I think with the apple green dress I will am going with OPIs Sweetheart color.

Cycling Through the Week

It's only Tuesday but I feels like it should be Thursday or better yet Friday!!

So when I stumbled on this video it made my day!! Thanks to this little laugh I can make it through the rest of the day!

My New Purchase!!

This weekend was very successful! I wasn't planning on it but I found and bought a car Saturday.

We had seen this car last weekend at it was a great deal! The car is an 08 and only had 15K miles on it. But ... it was still a little out of my price range. We went by just to look at it again and to see what they would offer us. After a few hours of test driving, haggling and what I thought was the end we officially bought it!

I traded in my sweet little sunfire that had been so good to me the past 10 years. It was a little sad to leave my first car sitting there at the dealership but I could not be more happy with my new Mercury Mariner sitting in my driveway right now!
